After months of hands-on learning, lectures and exams, a graduation ceremony is a memorable event.
Yet, for cosmetology student Hailee Dicesere, from Ligonier, Pennsylvania, it was particularly unforgettable – as it was also the day she became engaged!
Like many graduating students, Hailee was a little nervous January 30 about walking across the stage at Douglas Education Center’s (DEC) Graduation Ceremony. Little did she know that another big moment in her life would occur later that afternoon. With camera’s flashing and phones recording, Bill Clark popped the question. She said yes!
Bill said, “I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Hailee the moment I met her. I chose to propose to Hailee here because I didn’t want to wait another minute for her to be my fiancee. This day is all about new beginnings.”
Completely taken by surprise, Hailee said, “I’m just shocked. I never expected this to happen today! I’m actually speechless, but so happy!”
Hailee graduated from the Cosmetology Program and received a diploma.
